Baked Oysters, Stuffed Clams and Spiach Bake

A great tasting low fat high protien healthy seafood dish with sinach on the side and is great complimented with cottage cheese!

Lets start with the best part first, the oysters!  Not only a great healthy meal but well known for its aphrodisiac qualities.

First off you need live fresh oysters in which you will have to shuck.  This can be done easily with a oyster knife or screw driver, inserting it at the hinge of the oyster prying the top and bottum shells apart. Keep the oyster in the half shell.

Rinse off with cold water to remove any sand that might be inside. The great thing is that you can spice it up any way want.

But, this is how I do it.

  • Place the oysters in a baking pan with sides, leaving some space between them for air flow.

  •

  • Melt some butter in a small sauce pan, adding 1 clove of minced garlic to the melted butter.

  • Using a table spoon pour the butter and garlic over the oyster.

  • Lightly season with the Quinoa, Chia and itialian seasoning.  Now top it off with some fresh parmesan.

Place the oysters in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.  Let the oysters cook for 8 to 10                    minutes.

Spiach is a great sorce of healthy nutrition and quite frankly does not taste bad either.  I use the same spices to season the Spinach as i do the oysters.  Using the left over butter and garlic for the oysters.

  • Place the Spinach in a baking pan with sides, piling plenty of the sinach leaves in the pan.

  •

  • Using the left over melted butter for the oysters, pour the remaining over the top of the spinach..

  •

  • Lightly season with itialian seasoning, I like a lot of Quinoa and Chia adding some crunch to the dish.  Now top it off with some fresh parmesan.

Place the spinach in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.  Let the spinach cook for 3 to 5                      minutes.
